Hi love my children so much. They are great little kids and they make me smile everyday...now don't get me wrong, I am not under the delusion that my children are perfect. They also make me want to pull my hair out everyday too. The important part is that the smiles out-number the hairs I lose.
As a mom and a woman it is amazing to me that I can love so much these little people that are so ignorant, demanding, restless, and frustrating (qualities I would never want in friends), but also the sweetest, loving, remarkable and interesting people I know. My brain sometimes doesn't know how to process these opposite views.
All I know for sure is my children never stop amazing me.

Happy Mother's Day!
Hi to all the mom's out there...
May your mother's day be better than mine.
Daughter with Strep throat,
Almost No Sleep,
Making quiche for a breakfast I won't be able to attend
Making dinner for everyone else,
and a mountain of laundry to do...
I am so glad mother's day comes around once a year!

Insanity
So Eric and I are beginning a new workout program called...INSANITY! It is similar to P90X, but you don't use weights, arm bars, etc. you just use your own body weight. It is high cardio, max interval training and it is only 60 days not 90. I have only done the fit test (you take this 6 times total) and I can already tell I am going to hurt BAD over the next 60 days. So in order to avoid embarrassment, I will wait to post the before and after pictures until the end of the 60 days. I will keep you up to date on how it is going and hopefully post some awesome result pictures in 60 days.

Hi Everybody! Yes I am still here
So it has been forever since my last post, I know, I know...
So it has been almost 8 months...and sadly not a ton has happened, but a few major things did. We did have a couple of people look at our house, but no bites yet. We really need to get out of here, spacing issues! If anybody knows someone who wants a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome (excellent for parents looking to retire) please let us know!
In October my family lost my grandpa (father's father). He passed away on October 9th. He went as quickly as we could have hoped for. When things started getting bad they went fast. The doctor's were good about keeping him comfortable in his last days. The funeral was lovely and we were all happy that he is in a better place with grandma. I was happy to have seen my aunt and uncle and cousins that I don't get to see often because they live in Oregon. We had a nice visit despite the poor circumstances.
The holidays came and went without much of a fuss. We had a lot of fun, especially near Christmas. Brianne helped put up the decorations and had a great time. Christmas day was not as busy as usual. We woke up and had our Christmas. The kiddos loved digging into the presents and each ended up playing with the others toys. We then went to Eric's mother's house and had Christmas there. I cooked a crepe bar breakfast that included, eggs, bacon, ham (from Eric's mom), Jellies (from Bonnie), cream cheese filling, quiche (a special request from my sister-in-laws) and some super yummy truffles (from Angela). We engorged ourselves and opened lots of presents, it was a great time. We then went to my dad's for dinner.
Jaxon turned 1 in January. He had a Mickey Mouse themed party (he loves mickey mouse). I think it was a success, everyone seemed to have fun (as much as you can have at a 1-year-old's party). Jaxon missed most of it due to a nap. Why is it that I plan the party when he never naps, and that day asleep for 1-1/2 hours?! Oh well...
Eric and I are going to try to get Brianne into School for August. I say try because she misses the cut-off by 4 days. Hopefully they will test her and she will be permitted in. She is definitely ready. She has been going to school (daycare) for 2 years in a classroom-like setting and she has a thirst to learn.
Why is it that people feel that they can ask you personal questions about your family reproduction? When people see my 2 children the first question they ask me is...Are you done having kids? I can understand family asking, but strangers? It is such a hard subject for me. I was just telling Eric yesterday, I know i am not done with 2 kids, but know i am not sure i will be done with 3 either. I have told Eric before that if we were independently wealthy I would have a bunch more kids. I never thought I would be like this, but I can't get the thought of lots of kids out of my system.
Well that is it for now. It is almost Valentine's Day and Brianne and I are going to make cupcakes and cookies to give to all our Valentines...

God's mean sense of humor...
Today, the day before my 30th birthday......I discovered my first grey hair!!
I was looking in the mirror at my very mouse brown roots and said "oh good, now I can find a color closer to my natural color and let it grow out." then I paused and thought, wow that hair is awfully blond?? Then discovered, as my mother calls it, my silver hair.
I thought I was going to be able to dodge that bullet for a few more years....curses!
